The Nominations Committee of the New Jersey Psychological Association, has selected Dr. Nouriman Ghahary, Associate Professor and Director of Training for the Doctorate in Counseling Psychology Program at Felician University, School of Arts and Sciences, as a winner of the 2023 NJPA Dr. Stanley Moldawsky Mentor award. This nomination had been submitted to NJPA by a number of her doctoral students in spring 2023.
This award recognizes exceptional leadership of an NJPA member in the form of enduring and exemplary contributions to mentoring new psychologists and/or graduate doctoral level students, over a sustained period of time, which collectively, has significantly enhanced the Association’s ability to positively impact the lives and careers of its new membership, as well as advancing the field of psychology in New Jersey, and beyond.
